Bonnie and I were able to attend the Gala Preview Night of the 2008 Pacific Orchid Expo, hosted by the San Francisco Orchid Society. In addition to the fantastic display of orchids, we also enjoyed wine, appetisers, and some fantastic entertainment by the Lost Cats jazz quartet. All images are Copyright ©2008, Michael Callahan. Michael Callahan is experienced using both traditional and digital media. Many of the images he creates these days start out as digital photos. The original image of the Indian Dancer below was taken at an Native American Pow Wow at Cal State University Long Beach, then digitally manipulated. The resulting full-sized image is an amazing photo illustration with vibrant colors, exciting movement, and crisp detail. | |
