Most images I produce are composits of images gathered from various locations
around the Bay Area. The image below contains five separate photographic
images from a recent trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  A visit to this Aquarium is a must for visitors to the Monterey area. An average visit takes 2-3 hours, but you could spend the whole day. A few months back I was treated to an amazing afternoon at Moffett Airfield in Mountain View, CA. Tom and I were virtually transported back in time, and were able to view some vintage WWII aircraft. Unlike many other air shows that I've attended over the years, there were very few people -- allowing Tom and I nearly un-fettered photo opportunities. The digital pieces pictured below were created as a result of this trip. According to Greek mythology, Icarus' father, Daedalus, a talented craftsman, attempted to escape from his exile in Crete, where he and his son were imprisoned at the hands of King Minos, the king for whom he had built the Labyrinth to imprison the Minotaur. Daedalus, the master craftsman, was exiled because he gave Minos' Daughter, Ariadne, a clew of string in order to help Theseus survive the Labyrinth.

This article contains some of my newest creations, inspired by my wanderings through the land. As always larger images are in the Gallery, and also available for purchses as limited edition giclee prints. Artists are the Indians of the white world.
